Location: El Puesto is located in the Alto Valle de Uco. Los Arboles District, 110 km. south west from the city of Mendoza.
How to get to the ranch from the city of Mendoza (approximate time: 2 hours)
From the city of Mendoza to the South along route 40 until Ugarteche. Then route 86 until San José, arriving toTupungato, crossing the city through the main street and then turning right to Los Arboles district through route 89. Passing through wineries as Mayol, Chandon, Reina Rutini, Salentein. Once in Los Arboles, 500 meters after the town´s main shop called “El Portillo”, turn right in the first not paved way, ascending west 7 km. Crossing “El Olmo” river and a tranquera (typical Argentinian wide countryside door). You will see “El Puesto” on your left hand side. |

The ranch is in the middle of the Andes, offering different types of excursions such as trekking, mountain bike, 4x4, fishing. The favourite is horseriding, around the ranch or crossing the "Cordillera de los Andes" to Chile. Wonderful landscapes, mysterious arqueological signs left by the Huarpes and animals from the place will make you feel part of the Andes, and capture the scene not only with your camera, but also with your own senses. And after the excursions you´ll be expected at the lodge with typical Argentinian home-made meals and meats accompanied with excellent wines from the area.
