Crossing of The "Los Andes"by Horse

This excursion is made by horse between the months of December and March. Raúl Labat, is personaly encharge of this excursion with his own team of “gauchos”, horses, mules and equipment.

Route: This excursion lasts 6 days. Departing from “Los Arboles” at 1.500 meters high, crossing the two Cordilleras: “Cadena del Portillo” (Portillo Mountain Chain) at 4.500 meters high. Then descending to the “Valle del Alto Tunuyán” (High Tunuyán Valley). From there you will enjoy the different excursions. The highest american Glaciar at 6.200 meters high: San Juan Glaciar, Tupungato Volcano and the Marmolejo Lagoons. Finally crossing the Piuquenes Mountain Chain and arriving in Chile.
